 Jeff Galloway jeff@BeachesByJeff.com
Jeff Galloway is not your typical real estate agent. First, he sells more real estate in a year than most Realtors do in a lifetime. In 2005 that total was nearly $189 million in gross sales---more than many entire real estate offices post in a year. That’s $15,750,000 in sales per month---what would be considered a very good year of production for most agents. Add to the mix the fact that Jeff Galloway is only in his sixth year of real estate sales and he’s located in a very unlikely region of the country to post these numbers. The result is a success story of phenomenal proportions. Jeff Galloway's office is located on the small Florida island of St. George, an area that bills itself as the “Forgotten Coast” of Florida. Seems that someone forgot to tell Jeff Galloway. His 2004 sales were even more impressive at a quarter of a billion dollars, making him one of the most successful Real Estate agents in the United States. Galloway beat out agents with far more experience and in regions of the country like California and New York where multi-million dollar sales prices are the norm rather than the exception. “I absolutely love what I do,” said Jeff Galloway. “It’s the best living I could imagine, especially when I help someone invest in real estate and see that investment pay off heavily a few years later when we resell the property.” For more information on Jeff Galloway or St. George Island, call toll free at 866-927-2596 or visit www.beachesbyjeff.com to conduct an online search of available properties or to request a free relocation package.

 Mark Shepherd, Realtor mark@markshepherd.net
I’ve been involved in the real estate business in one form or another almost all of my life. My involvement in real estate on and around St George Island began in the late 90’s. I am a pilot with Delta Air Lines and have had the good fortune of seeing properties of all kinds all over the nation. This has helped me to understand just exactly how unique St George Island and the surrounding area is.
I first met Jeff Galloway while we were both building homes on the island. In subsequent years, Jeff handled all of my real estate transactions…some years entailing many millions of dollars. Jeff and I soon realized that we had a kinship that has since matured to one of a close and trusting friendship. I came to work for Jeff as a result. We have similar styles with real estate transactions and the ability to make it happen for both the buyer and seller.
If I can be of service in your search for property along the “Forgotten Coast,” please feel free to contact me.

Accepting An Offer >Offers and Counter Offers
Many of the offers real agents submit for prospective buyers aren't exactly what the sellers want. The price may be lower than they are asking or there might be terms included in the offer that will require negotiation. What happens after the offer is submitted?
The seller's real estate agent will present the offer to the sellers, along with the buyer's qualifications. If the sellers accept the offer, then a purchase agreement is written and signed by both parties. If the sellers counter the offer, the next action is initiated by the buyers when they make a response, either accepting the counter offer or countering it with yet another figure. If you want to buy a particular house, your chances of succeeding are greater if your initial offer is as close to the asking price as possible. You could save money by engaging in lengthy negotiations, but you run the risk of losing the home if a more attractive offer comes in from another buyer.
